One benefit is that you don’t have to work as hard to get this bike going fast or maintain a consistent high speed, but this also drains the battery more quickly. The standard sized 42 tooth chainring seemed a bit delayed when I stopped pedaling, it’s like the motor wanted to continue or needed to wind down a bit and there was definitely some clunking as I shifted gears, possibly in part because of this steady output style. Instead of just measuring pedal cadence as most of the other TranzX motors do, it listens for rear wheel speed, pedal cadence, and pedal torque… though in my experience it is still primarily cadence driven and less dynamic than Bosch. It offers 500 watts of nominal output and up to 70 Newton meters of torque putting it on par with Bosch and Yamaha systems. This company usually produces mid-level value motors but the M25GTS is one of their premium products with a multi-sensor controller. So that’s just one step :)ĭriving this electric bike is a powerful, relatively quiet, impressively compact mid-motor from a Taiwanese company called TranzX. On the one hand, having to power the bike on by pressing the battery power button and then plugging in your phone and booting up the app and then pressing the rear light power button seems like a lot of steps, but having the ability to move the rear light to different areas of the bike (like clipping it onto a trunk bag or backpack) is very cool and you really don’t need to mount your phone if you don’t want to. A stand-alone rear LED light is mounted to the seat post and offers basic performance now but supposedly will offer turn signal and braking bright mode based on an accelerometer with future software updates. In short, I charged the bike… the bike charged the mount, my phone updated the mount and then itself… and then I finally got to take a ride! Included with the Cobi system is an aimable two-mode headlight with daytime running lights along the side and a bright center light for illuminating the path. You might think, oh, it’s just the software on my phone! But there is also some software and firmware built into the battery-powered interface where your phone mounts, and that had to be updated through my phone’s connection… after it had charged off of the main bike battery. And this is both a pro and a con, because it took me over one hour to configure the Cobi system on the brand new 2017 IZIP E3 ProTour demo model I was given access to. it can do many things… and possibly even more in the future as they update the software. If you allow the Cobi system to access your contacts, music, etc. You get all of the traditional ride stats such as speed, assist level, and battery capacity, along with GPS maps, fitness tracker, music integration, and phone call support. If you don’t have a smartphone or don’t want to use one, you can still operate this bike through the remote button pad (mounted with reach of the left grip) but the benefits of using their app are many. It offers high-speed 28 mph pedal assisted rides, feature-complete accessories like fenders, a rear rack, and integrated lights, and now it runs off of your Android or iOS smartphone device because it comes stock with the Cobi system. The ProTour is one of IZIP’s most exciting electric bikes, at least to me.

Achieving these greater effects often requires more cost and more risk. Some complex rituals can be cast to greater effect – summoning more powerful creatures, raising larger numbers of undead, etc. The complex ritual’s effects are listed along with its duration. It is recommended that the DM make the character’s ability checks for them and keep the result secret. Any ability checks related to the ritual are mentioned here. This recipe outlines the specific steps taken to cast the ritual. Sacrifices are materials needed to cast the ritual which are consumed during the process of casting. Focusesįocuses are material items needed to cast the ritual which are not consumed during the process of casting. For instance a ritual to raise an army of the dead might have to take place after the sun goes down in a graveyard during a full moon. These could include time of day, weather, phases of the moon, and location. Environmental ConditionsĮach complex ritual requires specific environmental conditions. If the ritual leader’s concentration is broken, the spell fails and any spent sacrifices at the time of broken concentration are consumed. The ritual leader must maintain concentration during this time. Most rituals have a casting time of 1 hour or longer. This magic is known as a complex ritual.Īll complex rituals require certain components, described below. Summoning creatures of great power, raising undead armies, and calling forth castles from the earth are examples of magic that goes beyond a simple spell. Stay tuned! Complex RitualsĬertain magic spells are too powerful to be cast in the normal way. So without further adieu here’s the rules for the complex fiend summoning ritual in my game. The rituals are meant to be fun, but not completely break the game. This isn’t the kind of spell they can cast each and every day. PCs and NPCs alike can access these complex rituals, but they must have all the components in exactly the right place. I like bringing those kinds of high risk, high reward mechanics into my games. Most importantly this magic invites players to gain a significant amount of power but only by risking life and limb. For another it allows them to go questing for specific ritual ingredients. Why give PCs access to such powerful magic? Well for one thing it gives them a way to spend some of the gold they seem to accidentally stock pile in fifth edition. They could also be used to raise undead armies, grow castles from the earth, or create a frosty, horrible Winter for an entire region of a country. Unfortunately complex rituals like this don’t have rules players can use in fifth edition… until now! These rituals don’t just summon powerful creatures. This magic is costly, rare, dangerous, and time-consuming. I’m talking about the magic we read about in novels which bring pit fiends, balors, and more into the Material Plane. Nor am I talking about the summoning spells I created for fifth edition D&D. I’m not talking about the conjure elemental and conjure celestial spells in the Player’s Handbook. Big time summoning rituals are part of many Dungeons and Dragons games. A large grid ore detector is a bit costly for me in the very early game AND Id need bigger, more costly beginner rovers that can handle the extra weight without having to move super slowly (my high-speed 2-wheeler bikes aint gonna cut it). When looking for Cobalt Ore, or ore in general, it's worth keeping in mind that Space Engineers populates its world with various ore types based on random seeds which can make specific types be rarer than others. Hello Space Engineers, welcome to this three minute tutorial. Some players say that the Ice Lakes in the Desert Biome or at the polar caps of planets and moons are a good spot for finding Cobalt Ore, as they make identifying the darker spots on the surface easier. You'll need to look for dark spots, as they indicate that ore is found underneath, after which you'll have to do a bit of drilling. Thus making your chance to find cobalt a lots higher. If you find iron and nickel together, scan around carefully. As suggested flying with an eye bird view higher will mostly make you find ore patches more often. Cobalt is usually, but not always, located near iron and nickel iron, nickel, and cobalt cluster together. That mean you are probably just high enough to miss most of the ore patches that are 25 meters or deeper. After a brief test patch making Iron smelting more realistic and less fun, this issue was addressed by Keen Software House, and it was decided to sacrifice realism for entertainment/speed.Cobalt Ore is found in asteroids, beneath the surface of both planets and moons. Some medium and some harder areas to survive so it gives us different gameplay where we can have. That way you’re not checking spots multiple times. On planets and in space, it’s a good idea to keep GPS markers on screen for each ore until you have found them all. Keep in mind we have different areas, some are very easy where we can see the ore spot with the naked eye and don't need a ore detector. A good practice is to keep your drill out and fly close to the ground while recovering Unknown Signals, then stop and mark each ore location you find. Which is to say 10 kg of ore will produce 7 kg of ingots. Hi, we don't see the ore spots on Triton, it is a 'Medium' area to survive where we must use a ore detector. Iron Ore can be processed in a Basic Refinery, or Refinery to produce Iron Ingots at a 70% weight ratio. Thankfully, it is the most common metal in Space Engineers, even more common than Silicon Ore. Throughout all stages of gameplay, the Space Engineer can never have enough Iron. Iron Ingots are the base ingredients for all core building blocks and components. The Oscar-winning tune Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah is taken straight from the movie and performed by Uncle Remus himself, James Baskett. Once upon a time, there was an actual period in Disney history where they not only acknowledged Song of the South’s existence, but celebrated it, as is the case with this video. This one always came first, and it was a great way to kick off the series. I grew up with several videos mashed together on to one cassette, and Disney Sing-Alongs were no exception. My Disney nitpicking alarm goes off whenever I see them spell the “Heigh” in “Heigh-Ho” as “Hi”, but I guess they wanted to make sure it was easy for kids to say. We’ve got The Three Caballeros, the theme from Pirates of the Caribbean (the ride, not the movies) which kind of used to scare me what with the stiff animatronics, dark lighting and explosion at the end, the theme song to Zorro (my intro to the classic series, which I can’t recommend enough the version played here is also the complete one!), “Let’s Go Fly a Kite”, “A Cowboy Needs a Horse”, and a few others. I’ve tried to glean what kind of theme runs through the video, and the best I could come up with are songs of adventure. Professor Owl even helps point out which dwarf is which for anyone who gets confused. I love the Seven Dwarfs and I’m glad they get quite a bit of screentime. Like with the previous entry, it only features one other song from the movie, “The Silly Song”, but I’m not complaining. The first (though technically second released) in the Sing-Along lineup, “Heigh-Ho” was made in time for Snow White’s 50th anniversary with the song everyone remembers and loves the most at the forefront. These are some interesting choices to have on this tape, especially considering this was released to coincide with The Jungle Book’s 20th anniversary. You’d think they’d have more songs from the film on there, but I appreciate that they decided to shine the spotlight on some nice melodies that would have otherwise been overlooked. Stork” from Dumbo (remember the last time you hummed that ditty?), one of Jiminy Cricket’s songs from the original Mickey Mouse Club, “The Ugly Bug Ball” from the lesser-known Hayley Mills movie Summer Magic (and the only reason I knew that it’s from there is because my grandma somehow got that movie on VHS while I was in middle school, and when I watched it for the first time and the song came up I was like “Hey! I remember this from that old sing-along video I used to have!”) and the theme from Old Yeller, which was my intro to the classic movie long before Animaniacs, every critic and their mama made fun of the infamous ending (they wisely leave it out during the song itself). This is also the video that probably has the most obscure tunes apart from the aforementioned Jungle Book songs, the Work Song the mice from Cinderella sing, and the theme from Winnie the Pooh, it features “Look Out for Mr. It even provides room to do some jazz scatting with King Louie and Baloo. It features two of the best musical numbers, “I Wanna Be Like You” and of course the song where the title of this video comes from, and it doesn’t disappoint. Frankly I think I may have watched the sing-along more than the actual movie. I have to be honest, The Jungle Book was never one of my favorite Disney films, but I love the music from it. So strike up the birdhouse school band Professor Owl, let’s look at my 10 favorite Disney Sing-Alongs! Each tape was a twenty-minute compilation of their greatest hits and they kept families entertained for hours…well, they kept the kids quiet for a half-hour at least. That was my gateway to the Wonderful World of Disney that sadly is often overshadowed by whatever preteen crap the Disney Channel is peddling today. Sure, many of the songs featured were taken from animated movies we all know and love, as well as from a few park attractions that have the most earworm-iest themes, but they also included tunes from the Walt-era of television shows and live-action films. With the dawn of home video, Disney jumped on the bandwagon to ensure every generation grew up with its classics in some form or another, and this was the perfect way to do it. Thank you for your cooperation, and please enjoy.ĭisney was one of the staples of my childhood, and one of the sub-staples of that staple was the series of Sing-Along videos that came out from the mid-’80s to the 2000’s.
